Class 12th General English Grammar Short Notes Pdf :
जैसा कि आप लोग जानते हैं की कक्षा 12वीं इंग्लिश पेपर दो भागों में बाटा होता है जिसमें एक भाग General English और दूसरा भाग Literature होता है। Class 12th General English Grammar में दिए गए Transformation of Sentences से संबंधित जानकारी लेने वाले हैं जो की निम्नलिखित है-
Note : Transformation of sentences की यह आर्टिकल कक्षा ग्यारहवीं के विद्यार्थियों के लिए भी विशेष महत्वपूर्ण है।
Definition of Transformation :
जब किसी वाक्य में अर्थ बदले बिना उसे वाक्य के बनावट में कोई बदलाव करते हैं तो इस process को Transformation of sentences कहा जाता है।
Example : (i) He is uneducated.
(ii) He is not educated.
उपर्युक्त दोनों वाक्य का बनावट अलग है, परंतु दोनों ही वाक्य का अर्थ समान है।
Sentence के Transformation के लिए Rules :
इंटरमीडिएट के पाठ्यक्रम में Transformation के निम्न नियम दिए गए हैं-
- Sentence containing the adverb ‘Too’
- Interchange of the degrees of comparison.
- Interchange of active and passive voice
- Interchange of affirmative and negative sentence
- Interchange of interrogative and assertive sentence
- Interchange of exclamatory and assertive sentence
- Conversion of simple sentence into compound sentence
- Conversion of compound sentence into simple sentence
- Conversion of simple sentence into Complex sentence
- Conversion of complex sentence into simple sentence
- Conversion of complex sentence into compound sentence
- Conversion of compound sentence into Complex Sentence
- Interchange of one part of speech into another
दोस्तों उपरोक्त नियमों के बारे में हम अच्छे से समझेंगे। इतने नियमों के अंतर्गत ही कक्षा 12वीं बोर्ड परीक्षा में प्रश्न पूछे जाते हैं।
Sentence containing the adverb ‘Too’
किसी वाक्य में Adverb ‘Too’ का प्रयोग करके या उसे हटाकर वाक्य का Transformation किया जाता है।
Adverb ‘Too’ हटाकर वाक्य का रूप बदलने
Adverb ‘Too’ को हटाने के लिए निम्नलिखित उदाहरण को देखकर Transformation नियम को समझा जा सकते हैं।
जैसे- These apples are too cheap to be good.
Ans.These apples are so cheap that they cannot be good.
- Too के स्थान पर so का प्रयोग कीजिए।
- वाक्य में प्रयुक्त विशेषण के पश्चात That का प्रयोग कीजिए।
- That के बाद प्रारंभ में Subject के स्थान पर प्रयुक्त Noun या Pronoun के अनुसार ही he, she, it, they,I या We मे से आवश्यकता अनुसार किसी एक का प्रयोग कीजिए।
- उसके बाद वाक्य Present का है तो Can’t का प्रयोग कीजिए।
- यदि वाक्य Past का है तो Couldn’t का प्रयोग कीजिए।
Example :
(i) He is too week to move.
Ans. He is so weak that he cannot move.
(ii) He is too old to work hard.
Ans. He is so old that he cannot work hard.
(ii) He is too proud to beg.
Ans. He is so proud that he will not beg.
(iii) She is too fat to see to properly.
Ans. She is so fat that she cannot sit properly.
(iv) My brother was too weak to carry the box.
Ans. My brother was so weak that he could not carry the box.
(v) the book is two difficult to read.
Ans. The book is so difficult that it cannot be read.
- यदि वाक्य Passive Voice में हो या वाक्य का कर्त्ता यदि निर्जीव हो तो बदला हुआ वाक्य भी Passive Voice में होगा।
(vi) The house is too castly to be purchased.
Ans. The house is so costly that it cannot be purchased.
Adverb ‘Too’ का प्रयोग करके रूप बदलने :
(i) He is so poor that he cannot buy a scooter.
Ans. He is too poor to buy a scooter.
(ii) The news is so good that it cannot be true.
Ans. The news is too good to be true.
(iii) It is so cold that one cannot go out.
Ans. It is too cold to go out.

Rewrite the following sentences with the adverb ‘too’:
- He drove so fast that the police cannot catch him.
- He spoke so fast that he could not be understood.
- He is so young that he cannot understand a complex theory like this.
- The chief minister Rajat was so busy that he could not give us an appointment.
- Your story is extremely ridiculous.
Rewrite the following sentences without the adverb ‘too’ :
- This news is too good to be true.
- He is too short to be a good basketball player.
- It is too hot to help.
- Hema was too nervous to perform well on the stage.
- He is too old to run the race.
